Terms of Use

PlayHere is a listing platform that helps people find and organise real-life sports and gaming meetups on the web and in our iOS and Android apps. Events are created and run by users. PlayHere does not organise, supervise, or vet events or attendees.

You attend events at your own risk.

Meet in public places, judge your own fitness to participate, and look after your belongings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayHere is not liable for injuries, loss, theft, disputes, or any harm arising from meetups arranged through the app. If you ever feel unsafe, leave and contact local emergency services (000 in Australia).

You need to be at least 16 to use PlayHere. Keep your login details to yourself, use your real identity with other players, and don't create accounts to evade a ban. You can sign in with a username and password, or with Google, Apple, or Facebook where offered. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Follow the Community Guidelines: show up to events you join, treat people with respect, no harassment, hate, spam, or scams. Don't scrape the service, probe its security, or interfere with other people's use of it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Events, messages, photos, and other content you post remain yours. By posting, you give PlayHere permission to store and display that content as needed to run the service — for example showing your event to nearby players.

PlayHere is provided as-is, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at times. We may update these terms; if we make material changes we'll note the date at the top, and continuing to use PlayHere means you accept the updated terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
