Community Guidelines

PlayHere connects people for real-life sports and games. These guidelines keep meetups safe, respectful, and worth showing up for.

Show up or say something

If you join an event, organisers and other players are counting on you. Cancel as early as you can if plans change. Repeated no-shows hurt everyone — organisers can mark attendance after events, and that feeds into your reliability on PlayHere.

Meet in public places

Choose well-lit, public venues when you can. Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave and get help.

Be respectful

Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and unwanted contact are not tolerated. Treat organisers, hosts, and venues with respect.

Honest events only

Don't post fake events, scams, or misleading listings. Include accurate times and locations. Private circle events should stay within that circle.

Report problems

Use Report on a person or event if something violates these guidelines or makes you feel unsafe. We aim to review reports within 48 hours and remove content or suspend accounts when needed. For emergencies in Australia, call 000.

Your account

Keep a valid email on your account — it appears as a badge on your profile so others know you're reachable. Organisers can mark attendance after events, which builds show-up reliability on profiles. If you break these guidelines or are reported for serious or repeated behaviour, your account can be suspended or permanently banned. PlayHere does not run background checks — use reporting, profile badges, and public meetup spots to stay safe.
